You should now be able to CHAT on this ning! On the bottom bar far to the right you should see a green tab labeled 'Chat.' Click to open the chat box and test it out. Of course, it only works if more than one person is in the ning at the same time. This is a perfect opportunity for you to invite a new friend to join you in this environment. You do NOT have to stick to the topic of dreaming while you chat. This ning can just be a fun, private, place to chat. The content from our chats are not bei…

I don't often dream of spiders - never have been afraid of them. Other people always call me to come squish them so it seems odd, now that I think of it, for me to dream about large spiders. In this dream there was first a small spider which I easily squished but then another larger, more bulb shaped one came crawling out of a hole in the wall. There was something about this one that was creepy. I called for my daughter to squish it but she just lightly tapped it, not giving it any pressure. I k…

It is 11:30 and there is school tomorrow. Can't seem to feel ready to try to go to bed. I did have a cup of coffee about 2 hours ago. You wouldn't think that would still be affecting me. How long does the effects of caffeine stay in the body?

I just completed my application to be chosen by Discovery for a Student Discovery Adventure to CHINA! What a dream that would be! If selected, I would travel with four students along with other educators and their students to China the first two weeks in August. There are many people that will want to be chosen and who are very qualified as DEN members so my odds may be slim. But that is what would make being chosen a dream. Better yet, it would be all expenses paid! As I filled out the applicat…

Today I purchased a selection of beautiful beads with the plans to create another kaleidoscope during spring break. It has felt all too long since I have felt rested and energetic enough feel inspired to create. This last week I have felt different although I am not sure why. I have been taking more nerve damage meds before bed and I am beginning to guess that the extra restful sleep is a huge factor in my energy level. This past week at work has been very productive and positive. I will post a…

I have nerve damage in my right thigh. Many nights the numbness keeps me from falling asleep or staying asleep. Last night I took my nerve damage medicine just before I went to bed. It helps make me groggy and I sleep better because I don't toss and turn. I dreamed of a house that seemed to be an apartment. It looked familiar in the dream and I acted as if I had lived there and knew every room and corner. Walking out of the room, I saw a young man that I know in real life. He was moving in to th…

The clock chimed midnight and I am still awake. Not sure it is due to one can of pop, over stimulation from Twitter feeds or what. Husband asleep hours ago. Friend said this is a 50+ woman thing - hoping that is not the case. Used time to open a TweetDeck. Interesting application but it will take some time to get used to the new feel of it. I do like the fact that it updates itself with an audible tweet. Still thinking of having a sleep test done this summer. Apnea?

I created this Ning when the adrenaline of insomnia filled me once again with the urge to create. Dreaming vivid recurring images compels me to reflect on the meaning and power of these twilight adventures. This space is for reflection and discovery of the collected power of people's dreams. Please share your haunting, wishful path of inspiration.
